We are your hosts
We, Jessy and Chris, are very happy and delighted to be your new hosts. To give you an idea of who we are, we’d like to start by telling you a bit about ourselves.
We met in Zermatt in the Swiss mountains in 2019. Jessica was born in Kassel and is a qualified hotel manager. She then traveled constantly and took advantage of the freedom of her profession. She was more at home in the wide world than with her family in North Hesse. Constantly searching for the perfect wave and a place to arrive. Christoph comes from Winden in the Elz Valley, in the beautiful Black Forest. After completing his apprenticeship as a chef in upscale gastronomy, he quickly moved to Switzerland. First to the Dolder Grand in Zurich, until he moved to Zermatt to take a break from star gastronomy. Which, as many people know, worked out semi-well. Because Chris loves his job. Cooking is his passion.
Our paths crossed while working together in the well-known mountain restaurant Chez Vrony. We spent a few more seasons together in the mountains. Always in search of a place to arrive. Jessy had always wanted to live by the sea and Chris had long dreamed of becoming self-employed.
And as fate would have it, we got to meet Nici and Timo in the summer of 2023. Our predecessors and owners of this beautiful country hotel, Can Davero. We are very grateful to both of them and feel honored to be able to take over this hotel. Full of passion and commitment, we hope that we will be just as great hosts as they are!

With our hotel motto, we want our guests to feel as if they are at home with friends instead of staying in an impersonal hotel. We want to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere in which you feel comfortable and receive personal attention. Our concept includes small details such as personalized service, individual room design and shared social activities to promote a sense of community and hospitality.
